DescriptionRoadrunner figurine. White with black feather designs and red beak and top of head. No feet; figurine sits on flat base (roadrunner's belly).
Tribal Collection Review RemarksAccording to the participants in the Acoma collection review visit February 17-19, 2016 (Events Record “Collection Review: Acoma Pueblo Review 5”): This is a roadrunner made by (Mary) Dolores Lewis Garcia. Her first name is Mary but she now goes by Dolores. This is one of the few pieces where she signed her name as Mary D Lewis. One of her sister’s names is Mary Ethel Lewis Garcia and she signs her name “Mary Garcia”.
