DescriptionA ring and two earrings, each made in the shape of a Rainbow figure (Amidolanne). The materials used are silver, turquoise, jet, spiny oyster, mother of pearl, and an unknown white shell. The technique used is channel inlay.
Tribal Collection Review RemarksJim Enote and Octavius Seowtewa during collection review visit December 7 and 8, 2010 (Events Record “Collection Review: Zuni Tribe, Review 5”): The materials used are silver, turquoise, jet, spiny oyster, mother of pearl, and an unknown white shell. The technique used is channel inlay. All of the figures are of Rainbow. The Zuni word for rainbow is amidolanne.
