DescriptionPolychrome grandfather storyteller with six grandchildren. Two children are seated on each arm and one child is seated on each knee. The grandfather has braided hair, a round opening for the mouth, and wears a floral-patterned shirt. Black and red painted over white slip.

* Please note: Mary Trujillo is Ohkay Owingeh (San Juan) and Isleta, but married into Cochiti Pueblo (Leonard Trujillo). She learned how to make Cochiti-style pottery from her mother-in-law, Helen Cordero, and works in that style.
Tribal Collection Review RemarksAccording to the participants in the Isleta collection review visit May 2-3, 2022 (Events Record “Collection Review: Isleta Collection Review 2"): The participants do not believe this artist, Mary Trujillo, is the same, Mary E. Trujillo, from Isleta Pueblo. This does not look Isleta.
