DescriptionMicaceous bean pot with lid. A human face is modeled on the jar. The handles on either side are in the shape of dogs. The knob on the lid is also in the shape of a dog. The jar is the natural orange color of the clay.
Tribal Collection Review RemarksAccording to the participants in the Tesuque collection review visit March 9-10, 2020 (Events Record “Collection Review: Tesuque Pueblo Review 2"): This style of jar could also be called a bean pot. The artist, Laurencita Pino, is Mark Mitchell's grandmother. No further comments were made.
