DescriptionWater jar; cream slip with black painted decoration. The design consists of continuous wavy line at rim; repeating curvilinear large floral motifs on body. Red band of slip around unslipped tan underbody; concave base.
Tribal Collection Review RemarksAccording to the participants in the Tesuque collection review visit March 9-10, 2020 (Events Record “Collection Review: Tesuque Pueblo Review 2"): The bottom of this jar is very heavy which is characteristic of a water jar. The design could include floral motifs with seeds.
