DescriptionA two-piece red ceramic sculpture titled "Brote." The bottom portion of the sculpture consists of three coconut-shaped spheres joined together to form a triangle shape. They are highly polished. The second piece fits into the top of the first piece, at the point where the spheres join. It is 23 inches tall, has three sides, and gently twists to look like an elongated cork screw. In contrast to the bottom piece of the sculpture, the top piece has a rough, striated texture. The sculpture sits on a square wooden base which has been stained a dark brown.
