Tribal Collection Review RemarksAccording to the participants in the Isleta collection review visit May 2 3, 2022 (Events Record “Collection Review: Isleta Collection Review 2"): This is an early example of Stella Teller’s work. She began with commercial cast slip ware and eventually moved on to using traditional natural clays and slips. The design is an abstract thunderbird design. This vase is a cast slip vase. The black paint is commercial, and the red slip is natural. This vase was kiln fired.
