Tribal Collection Review RemarksAccording to the participants in the Isleta collection review visit May 2 3, 2022 (Events Record “Collection Review: Isleta Collection Review 2"): The artist, Stella Teller, believes she made this in the early 1980s. This is a set with SAR.2007 1 474 (see that record for more information). The slip on the pants may have come from a separate batch than was used on the Mary figurine as it is slightly darker. The turquoise heishi necklace is from either San Felipe Pueblo or Santo Domingo Pueblo. The staff is a wooden stick, and the rope is cotton string.
