Tribal Collection Review RemarksAccording to the participants in the Isleta collection review visit March 17, 2022 (Events Record “Collection Review: Isleta Collection Review 1"): This turtle figurine is hand formed by creating a half bowl shape and adding on the appendages. The white slip is applied, stone polished, and the design is painted. There are visible marks from the polishing. The turquoise on the shell is untreated. The shell is decorated with a cloud and lightning design. Stella believes she may have made this in the 1990s.
