DescriptionThis is a sterling silver collar with five dragonflies that appear to be "flying" from the necklace. The collar is made in five sections, with one dragonfly corresponding to each section. The sections are linked together with hooks, which can be unhooked as well. Each section has been assigned a number. The numbers are marked with small dots located on the underside of the proper upper-left wingtip. One dot = section one. Two dots = section two, etc. The artist's signature is also located on each dragonfly, in the same place as the section number dots. Each dragonfly has two hand-drilled fresh water pearls for eyes, held in place with 14-karat gold wire. Dragonfly number two (with two dots on its wing) is meant to drape down the wearer's back. Each piece of the necklace was hand forged.
