Tribal Collection Review RemarksAccording to the participants in the Acoma collection review visit May 9-11, 2017 (Events Record “Collection Review: Acoma Pueblo Review 8”): This jar is made with traditional natural materials. It is well made and is light in construction. It was likely made for sale as it doesn’t appear to have been used before.

It was noted that it is very rare for potters to spell out the entire state name. Usually it is “N.M.” or “N. Mex”, or simply just “Acoma”.
