Tribal Collection Review RemarksOctavius Seowtewa during collection review visit February 17 and 18, 2010 (Events Record “Collection Review: Zuni Tribe, Review 4”): This is an eagle carving. Mr. Seowtewa agrees with the attribution of Leekya Deyuse as the artist. Leekya Deyuse was one of the original artists who started making small stone carvings (also commonly known as fetishes). He was also the father of Frank Vacit.
