DescriptionSingle strand shell heishi on braided cotton. Interspersed are twenty four irregular turquoise beads (mostly green), twenty four shell beads, two complete black and white speckled shells. At bottom on either side is a red shell center.
Tribal Collection Review RemarksJim Enote and Octavius Seowtewa during collection review visit December 7 and 8, 2010 (Events Record “Collection Review: Zuni Tribe, Review 5”): The materials used are several unknown shells, turquoise, and a black and white speckled shell that is from a type of shell. The current catalog description is correct.
