DescriptionTwo strands of shell heishi with some larger beads on cotton string. A few turquoise disc beads throughout; one large turquoise bead and thirty-two larger white shell beads.
Tribal Collection Review RemarksJim Enote and Octavius Seowtewa during collection review visit December 7 and 8, 2010 (Events Record “Collection Review: Zuni Tribe, Review 5”): The materials used are one or more unknown white shells, turquoise, and spiny oyster. The current catalog description is correct. Mr. Seowtewa and Mr. Enote confirmed that this necklace could be either Zuni or Hopi.
