Tribal Collection Review RemarksOctavius Seowtewa during collection review visit Nov. 16 and 17, 2009 (Events Record “Collection Review: Zuni Tribe, Review 3”): Mr. Seowtewa identified the birds depicted in the painting as possibly hummingbirds. The Quandelacy family is well-known for fetish carving, but Wilmer Quandelacy does not make fetishes.
