DescriptionWhite slip with black and red painted decoration; rainbird design; red underbody; black interior rim. Two large four-lobed "rosette" designs, one on each side of the jar, with an elaborate four-pointed "star" design embedded in the rosette. The decorative band that wraps around the middle of the jar (divided in two by the rosettes) features two deer with heartlines, on either side of the jar. Laguna Polychrome variant. Large storage jar by Arroh-ah-och. Banded design, typical Zuni layout, with two elaborate four-lobed medallions and a row of deer motifs. Thick construction supports the large form.
