DescriptionAcoma black-on-white jar with black painted decoration. The design consists of rectangular fineline scroll all over design with a black rim and white base. White interior and flat base.
Tribal Collection Review RemarksAccording to the participants in the Acoma collection review visit May 9-11, 2017 (Events Record “Collection Review: Acoma Pueblo Review 8”): The artist is well known for this form with steeply rounded shoulders and flattish necks. The design is evenly spaced and well painted. Nothing more was said about this jar.
