Tribal Collection Review RemarksJim Enote and Octavius Seowtewa during collection review visit June 10 and 11, 2009 (Events Record “Collection Review: Zuni Tribe, Review 2”): These are leg bands that would be used to hold up various types of leggings (leather fringe leggings or legging wraps, for example). The record contains a 2/17/2000 note by Aric Chopito that says they are called eni:we in Zuni. Mr. Enote and Mr. Seowtewa said that because of their narrow width, they should be called eni:t’sana. (“We” translates to “wide”, while “t’sana” translates to “small.”)
