DescriptionRectangular silver hair with blue, rectangular turquoise stones set with channel inlay around the perimeter. Two breaks in design on each end of the slide. The slide is missing its fastener.
Tribal Collection Review RemarksJim Enote and Octavius Seowtewa during collection review visit December 7 and 8, 2010 (Events Record “Collection Review: Zuni Tribe, Review 5”): The materials used are silver and turquoise. The technique used is channel inlay. The previous catalog description called this piece a “buckle.” It is really a hair hair slide that is missing the fastening piece.
