DescriptionAcoma black-on-white jar. White slip with black painted decoration. The design consists of two Mimbres-style fish motifs on the shoulder. Flat base, white slipped interior. Wide-mouthed jar.
Tribal Collection Review RemarksAccording to the participants in the Acoma collection review visit June 26-27, 2017 (Events Record “Collection Review: Acoma Pueblo Review 9”): There is a firing transfer on the base from a sherd that was used during the firing or a possibly a pot next to it. Nothing more was said about this jar.
