Tribal Collection Review RemarksAccording to the participants in the Acoma collection review visit June 26-27, 2017 (Events Record “Collection Review: Acoma Pueblo Review 9”): Emma Lewis-Mitchell, the maker of this plate, is Claudia (Holly) Mitchell’s mother. The materials used to make this plate are all natural traditional materials. It was likely kiln fired. The white slip has a high shine, implying it was well polished.
