DescriptionSpiny oyster shell pendant carved to resemble a frog with turquoise bead eyes. Two holes drilled for stringing.
Tribal Collection Review RemarksOctavius Seowtewa during collection review visit February 17 and 18, 2010 (Events Record “Collection Review: Zuni Tribe, Review 4”): The catalog card description of this piece is correct. Mr. Seowtewa agrees with the artist attribution of Neil Natewa. The materials used are spiny oyster and turquoise.
