Tribal Collection Review RemarksJim Enote and Octavius Seowtewa during collection review visit December 7 and 8, 2010 (Events Record “Collection Review: Zuni Tribe, Review 5”): The materials used include silver, abalone, and other unknown shells. The silver is cut wire tubing and commercially manufactured beads. The current catalog description identifies the artist as Andrew Emerson, attributed by a researcher in 2001. Also in 2001, another researcher clarified that his name was Andrew Emerson Quam. Mr. Seowtewa and Mr. Enote confirmed that there is carvings artist from Zuni named Andrew Quam.
