Tribal Collection Review RemarksAccording to the participants in the Acoma collection review visit September 4, 2015 (Events Record “Collection Review: Acoma Pueblo, Review 3”): The temper for this bowl appears to be river gravel/sand. The clay has a pinkish tint, implying the source is the older mine at Acoma. The color of the clay is coming through the white slip, making it appear to have a pinkish tint as well but the slip is white. The slips show wear from use. There are line breaks in the lines on the exterior.
