DescriptionBuffalo hunt scene. Six buffalo in center foreground, facing toward the right-hand side of the work. Five of the buffalo are running, while one is laying on the ground. There are two hunters on horseback in the middle ground; the hunter that is riding a white horse is spearing the buffalo that is laying down, and the one that is riding a brown horse is aiming at one of the running buffalo with a bow and arrow. Stylized clouds, sun, and mountains (?) at top of work. Geometric design units and stylized plant forms at bottom.
