Tribal Collection Review RemarksAccording to the participants in the Acoma collection review visit May 11-13, 2016 (Events Record “Collection Review: Acoma Pueblo Review 6”): This jar may have been found in an old ruin, possibly in the walls of a house. This could possibly be a birthing jar, indicated by the designs and the dots along the interior of the rim. There is a line break in the thick line that separates the neck from the body.
