Tribal Collection Review RemarksOctavius Seowtewa during collection review visit February 17 and 18, 2010 (Events Record “Collection Review: Zuni Tribe, Review 4”): The record only mentions Lee Weebothee as the artist, but it is stamped “Lee&Mary” on the back, so Mary Weebothee needs to be added to the record, as well. The description for the piece says that it includes a depiction of a “sun god.” This should be changed to “sun face.” It should also be added that the chain is handmade. The technique used on the pendant is raised mosaic inlay. The materials used are silver, turquoise, coral, lapis, mother of pearl, jet, malachite, and an unknown purple stone.
