DescriptionPolychrome cylinder seed jar with white slipped body. The top is decorated with a Mimbres key design repeated four times. The side has a diagonal band composed of black and white triangles. Stylized Mimbres-inspired motifs of a stag, a mountain lion, and a quail adorn the side.
Tribal Collection Review RemarksAccording to the participants in the Acoma collection review visit February 17-19, 2016 (Events Record “Collection Review: Acoma Pueblo Review 5”): The clay and paints used for this jar are commercial. Her pieces are collectable. Not much more was said about this jar.
