DescriptionSingle strand of olivella shell disk beads, twenty-five shell pendants, twelve turquoise pendants, thirty-two travertine pendants (four are animal shaped, two are bird shaped), three pipestone animal-shaped pendants, one naja-shaped pendant of travertine with heart-shape inlay of turquoise at bottom of necklace. The necklace is strung on white cotton string.
Tribal Collection Review RemarksJim Enote and Octavius Seowtewa during collection review visit December 7 and 8, 2010 (Events Record “Collection Review: Zuni Tribe, Review 5”): The materials used in this necklace are white olivella shell (for the heishi beads), turquoise, travertine, pipestone, a yellowish-orange-and-white shell that is spiny oyster, white clam, orange coral, and cotton string.
