Tribal Collection Review RemarksOctavius Seowtewa during collection review visit Nov. 16 and 17, 2009 (Events Record “Collection Review: Zuni Tribe, Review 3”): This artist has three names. His English name was Percy Sandy. He used two separate Native language names—one was Kai-Sa and the other was Tsisete (these are not Zuni names, but Mr. Enote and Mr. Seowtewa were not sure which language they are from). He married into Taos Pueblo and worked there. His descendants use the family name of Sandy. He was an uncle of Mr. Seowtewa. He is deceased.
