DescriptionPounded silver box with hinged lid, hand stamped design on lid and around sides; central dragonfly figure on lid is mosaic inlaid with turquoise, coral, jet and mother of pearl; four silver buttons soldered to bottom as feet and engraved arrowhead is engraved on bottom as a hallmark.
Tribal Collection Review RemarksJim Enote and Octavius Seowtewa during collection review visit December 7 and 8, 2010 (Events Record “Collection Review: Zuni Tribe, Review 5”): The materials used are silver, turquoise, jet, spiny oyster, and mother of pearl. An arrowhead-shaped hallmark is engraved on the bottom.
