Tribal Collection Review RemarksAccording to the participants in the Acoma collection review visit May 11-13, 2016 (Events Record “Collection Review: Acoma Pueblo Review 6”): The handle on this pitcher has been broken and glued back together. This pitcher is something that would have been sold along the roadside and railroad to travelers. It is a tourist trade piece. It is possible that this piece was purchased from someone selling on the roadside. The design on this pitcher, a variation of the thunder bird, is a typical Acoma design.
