DescriptionSingle strand shell, turquoise and jet beads interspersed with white shell heishi and small turquoise disk beads; ivory pendants inlaid with turquoise, spiny oyster, coral, and jet; two jet pendants inlaid with turquoise. The necklace is strung on cotton string.
Tribal Collection Review RemarksJim Enote and Octavius Seowtewa during collection review visit December 7 and 8, 2010 (Events Record “Collection Review: Zuni Tribe, Review 5”): The materials used are an ivory, turquoise, jet, spiny oyster, and coral. The pendant at the bottom of the necklace may be missing a stone inset.
