Tribal Collection Review RemarksAccording to the participants in the Acoma collection review visit June 26-27, 2017 (Events Record “Collection Review: Acoma Pueblo Review 9”): According to Dolores Lewis Garcia, Lucy’s daughter: Cochiti Potter, Helen Cordero, convinced Lucy to try making some frogs while they were both at a gallery called “Squash Blossom Gallery” (she was unsure if that was really the name of the gallery) in Highland Park, Illinois. This piece is the result of Lucy’s attempt at making a Cochiti style frog. She made a few more like this but not many.
