The pitcher is double necked, one neck terminating in a bird's head with no opening, handle connecting both spouts, red underbody, flat base. The design includes orange (sun) filled triangles, rain lines in stepped triangles, and cloud imagery.
Tribal Collection Review RemarksAccording to the participants in the Acoma collection review visit February 17-19, 2016 (Events Record “Collection Review: Acoma Pueblo Review 5”): This is a pitcher and has a similar shape to IAF.958. The bird may be a duck. There is no hole in the bird’s head, making the opposite spout the only opening. Not much more was said about this pitcher.
