DescriptionCeramic cube-form jar (part A) with small, step-shaped stopper (part B). Jar is painted with black squares painted overk white slip to form checkerboard pattern.

Tribal Collection Review RemarksAccording to the participants in the Acoma collection review visit February 17-19, 2016 (Events Record “Collection Review: Acoma Pueblo Review 5”): The paints and clay used for this vessel are commercial. Not much more was said about this jar.
