Tribal Collection Review RemarksAccording to the participants in the Acoma collection review visit April 3-5, 2018 (Events Record “Collection Review: Acoma Pueblo Review 10”): The artist’s signature is no longer on the bowl. It is likely that her signature was on the base and was lost on one of the pop outs that occurred during the firing. Her fingerprint is in the clay. This bowl warped in the firing. Bowls can warp during the firing process when they are not placed flat.
