Tribal Collection Review RemarksOctavius Seowtewa during collection review visit Nov. 16 and 17, 2009 (Events Record “Collection Review: Zuni Tribe, Review 3”): This is a decorative piece. It has holes at the nose and nostrils, so it couldn’t be used to hold water or food items. It was most likely made for sale and not for personal, household, or ceremonial use in the community.
