Tribal Collection Review RemarksJim Enote and Octavius Seowtewa during collection review visit December 7 and 8, 2010 (Events Record “Collection Review: Zuni Tribe, Review 5”): The materials used are silver, turquoise, jet, spiny oyster, and white clam shell (non-iridescent), and mother of pearl or conch. The technique used is mosaic inlay. The current catalog record calls these “slips, tip,” they are a ranger set. There should be a buckle as part of the set, but it is missing.
