DescriptionMulti-media painting on canvas. Basketry-inspired design in a band at the center of the work, with a row of nested diamond shapes (two complete diamonds in the center, to half-diamonds at either side of the canvas). Green, blue, tan, and orange. Materials used are acrylic paints, rice paper, glue, willow branches, varnish, modeling paste, on canvas. This painting was part of a series, with each of the three works in the series related to cradleboards. (See Object Media card for a photograph of the complete series.)
