DescriptionA multi-media basketry installation group. One large red, white, and black horsehair basket with a fringe of shells, bingo game pieces, buttons, seed beads, glass beads, and pieces of cut up credit cards. One small red horsehair basket with white seed beads. Accompanied by a set of five bingo cards, five game wooden pieces, two white and black plastic dice, two green plastic sequins, and one abalone button. The red horsehair in the baskets was dyed with red Rit dye. The black and the cream-colored horse hair are their natural colors. The cream-colored hair came from a palomino horse. The shells on the larger basket include dentalium (the long, conical-shaped white shells), abalone, olividae, and other unidentified shells.
