DescriptionSilver necklace by Dylan Poblano. Made of eight separate segments of cut sheet silver with incised designs joined together at moveable joints. Seven segments make up the collar portion. The eighth piece is the body of the pendant. Pendant has seven stones attached to it, one multi-chain tassel, and four strands of ball chain which are attached at one end near a square of blue stone or glass, and attached at four different places on the necklace at their opposite ends.
Tribal Collection Review RemarksJim Enote and Octavius Seowtewa during collection review visit Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, 2011 (Events Record “Collection Review: Zuni Tribe, Review 7”): The artist is the son of Veronica Poblano and brother of Jovanna Poblano (both are represented by pieces in IARC’s collection, SAR.2004-14-1 and SAR.2005-14-2 respectively). Dylan used to make Zuni inlay jewelry.
