Tribal Collection Review RemarksAccording to the participants in the Acoma collection review visit February 17-19, 2016 (Events Record “Collection Review 5”): This bowl has two signatures on the bottom which implies collaboration between the two artists. The two signatures are Loretta Vallo and Laura V. Chino, who are sisters. (Maiden name for both being Vallo.) The interior of the jar is white due to the color of the clay and not the slip. The exterior is slipped white and painted with the traditional black paint with wild spinach combination.
