DescriptionA silver ring with a mosaic inlay design of Rainbow (Amidolanne in the Zuni language). He is in a curved position, bending to his left. Materials used include silver, turquoise, coral, jet, abalone, gold lip, and mother of pearl. The silver drops around the edge of the piece are made of commercially-made 12-gauge half-bead wire.
Tribal Collection Review RemarksJim Enote and Octavius Seowtewa during collection review visit February 16 and 17, 2011 (Events Record “Collection Review: Zuni Tribe, Review 6”): The design is of Rainbow; this figure is called Amidolanne in Zuni. The silver drops around the figure are very uniform; they are made from commercially manufactured 12-gauge half bead wire. The materials used are silver, turquoise, coral, jet, abalone, mother of pearl, and gold lip.
