DescriptionCottonwood root is carved as a figure, with two legs and feet, two small forearms, hands against body, painted with mineral pigments. Black mesa, with green line and yellow line arcing over eyes, white dashes along base. Eyes and mouth stick out from mask; eyes are rectangular and white, and mouth is black with two white lines across center. Left ear is white square with red border and light green 'x' inside. Right ear is replaced by black horse hair bundle. Duck feathers and chicken fluffs attached to top. Clothing consists of white manta with red, black and green designs on right side. Black torso with light green paint extending down from the right shoulder, yellow paint from left, and green and yellow line extending down from each. Light green left forearm, yellow right forearm. Feet are bare.
