Tribal Collection Review RemarksAccording to the participants in the Acoma collection review visit May 22-24, 2018 (Events Record “Collection Review: Acoma Pueblo Review 11”): The embroidery design on this kilt has elements of rain and mountains. The tassels have corn husks inside them. The tassels are usually black now days and corn husks are no longer used. These are no longer woven at Acoma, however, embroidery is still very much practiced.
