DescriptionCenter of earring is an oval turquoise stone 3/4" long. The oval turquoise stone above it, 10/16" long. Both are outlined on the exterior with silver wire. Surrounding the base of the large stone are four silver balls attached to back. Three round turquoise pieces set in silver dangles at the bottom of earring. The turquoise in the center dangle appears to have been repaired (that turquoise is domed while the other two are flat).
Tribal Collection Review RemarksJim Enote and Octavius Seowtewa during collection review visit Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, 2011 (Events Record “Collection Review: Zuni Tribe, Review 7”): The materials used are silver and turquoise. The central piece of turquoise is set in a plain bezel. The middle dangle appears to have been re-done; the turquoise in it is rounded while the other two are flat. The four silver drops are handmade.
