Tribal Collection Review RemarksJim Enote and Octavius Seowtewa during collection review visit December 7 and 8, 2010 (Events Record “Collection Review: Zuni Tribe, Review 5”): The materials used are silver, jet, and turquoise. The current catalog description mentions that one of the three round turquoise inlays was noted as missing on the Museum of New Mexico catalog card (in 1932). Since there are now three turquoise inlays, it appears that it was replaced at some point after 1932. It is most likely the one that is a slightly different shape and color than the other two.
