Tribal Collection Review RemarksAccording to the participants in the Acoma collection review visit November 29-30, and December 1, 2016 (Events Record “Collection Review: Acoma Pueblo Review 7”): This is a cooking pot also known as a bean pot. This is not a blackware jar as there is no black colored clay at Acoma. The clay used to make this bowl is a red clay that has turned black from use.
