DescriptionSilver bolo slide has two Yei figures on either side of an oval-shaped turquoise cabochon. The top of the bolo is wider than the bottom. All materials except oval turquoise are inlaid using the mosaic inlay technique. Black braided leather bolo tie with silver, coral, and turquoise tips.
Tribal Collection Review RemarksJim Enote and Octavius Seowtewa during collection review visit December 7 and 8, 2010 (Events Record “Collection Review: Zuni Tribe, Review 5”): The materials used are silver, turquoise (two different kinds), coral, jet, mother of pearl, melon shell, an unknown purple stone, and leather. The figures on either side of the large oval turquoise stone are Navajo Yeis. The silver tips are handmade and are inlaid with coral, turquoise, and jet. The artists are a couple who usually work on jewelry together. Nancy Lasconcello is Zuni and Navajo.
